修正「獎助研究生出席國際會議申請作業要點」，適用申請補助出席115年8月1日起舉辦之國際會議案件/The amended policy for the “National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Guidelines on the Application for Graduate Student Stipends to Attend International Conferences” shall apply to applications for subsidies for attending international conferences held on or after August 1, 2026
- 旨揭要點修正案業經115年2月25日114學年度第5次行政會議修正通過，適用申請補助出席115年8月1日起舉辦之國際會議案件。
- 本次修正第 3、4、5 點及第 7 點規定，修正重點如下：
- 為期碩士班研究生以出席所屬系所提列之頂尖或重要會議為目標，爰修訂申請資格，增列會議等級之限制，並維持需具備其他配合款補助始得提出申請之規定，刪除不影響本意之贅字（修正第3點）。
- 為落實博士班研究生應優先向國家科學及技術委員會或其他校外單位爭取經費補助之精神，爰明訂須已向外單位申請補助者，始得提出申請（修正第3點）。
- 配合上述修正，將「向國家科學及技術委員會或其他校外單位申請補助之證明文件」列為申請提交之必要文件（修正第4點）。
- 依「中央政府各機關派赴國外各地區出差人員生活費日支數額表」重新調整各地區獎助額度；並將「short oral /短講」明確納入發表形式（修正第5點）。
- 考量除申請校外機構補助外，亦鼓勵向校內其他單位申請，爰進行文字調整；另刪除「高年級」文字以表年級非出國補助必要條件（修正第7點）。

- The Guidelines have been approved at the 5th Administrative Meeting of Academic Year 114 held on February 25, 2026 and shall apply to applications for subsidies for attending international conferences held on or after August 1, 2026
- This revision pertains to Articles 3, 4, 5, and 7. The key points are summarized as follows:
- (Master’s Students Eligibility: To encourage Master’s students to prioritize attending top-tier or significant conferences recommended by their respective departments/institutes, the eligibility criteria have been revised to include restrictions on conference rankings. The requirement to secure matching funds remains in place, and redundant phrasing has been removed (Amendment to Article 3).
- Doctoral Students Funding Priority: To reinforce the principle that Doctoral students should first seek funding from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) or other external organizations, the guidelines now explicitly state that applicants must have applied for external subsidies before becoming eligible for this grant (Amendment to Article 3).
- Required Documentation: In alignment with the aforementioned changes, "proof of application for subsidies from the NSTC or other external organizations" is now a mandatory document for submission (Amendment to Article 4).
- (Subsidy Adjustments & Presentation Formats: Funding amounts for different regions have been readjusted in accordance with the "Amount Table of Foreign Per Diem Allowance of Central Government Agency ." Additionally, "short oral" have been explicitly included as a recognized form of presentation (Amendment to Article 5).
- Language Refinements: Terminology has been adjusted to encourage students to seek subsidies from other internal university units in addition to external agencies. Furthermore, the term "senior" has been removed to clarify that a student's year of study is not a mandatory condition for receiving travel subsidies (Amendment to Article 7).
