\r\nAs research performance becomes a crucial criterion for award and grant applications, becoming familiar with the SciVal tool and interpreting data will help faculty effectively showcase their research findings and increase their application success rate.
\r\n
\r\nThis course will focus on commonly used metrics such as Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI), H-index, and journal and conference FWCI. Participants will understand their meanings and application scenarios, and demonstrate how to query and use them within the SciVal platform.
\r\n
\r\nAlso, the university's newly purchased Trends module will be introduced for the first time, helping faculty identify research trends and collaboration opportunities, providing a powerful reference for future research directions and planning.
\r\n
\r\nThrough this course, you will be able to demonstrate the impact of your research with more accurate data and effectively utilize SciVal to enhance academic development and resource applications.
