\r\nThis program aims to encourage and support the research efforts of our university’s researchers by providing funding for promising research projects that have not yet received external grants. The funding is intended to facilitate the smooth execution of these projects, enhance their potential to secure future grants, and ultimately strengthen the university’s overall research capacity.

\r\n\t- 申請資格：本校在學學生，不含在職專班，且以本校名義發表之專題成果參加重要國際競賽（不包含學術論文競賽）。
\r\n\t- 申請文件：檢附「經費申請書」及「預算項目、額度與相關附件(如報名表、競賽資訊、參賽作品等)」。
\r\n\t- 申請期限：競賽日期六週前向研究發展處企劃二組送交申請文件。

\r\n「National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Guidelines on Grants for Students' Projects in Major International Competitions」Application Announcement

\r\n\t- Eligibility for Application：Must be current students of the University, excluding those on in-service master’s programs, and have participated in a major international competition (excl. academic thesis competitions) with a project published in the name of the University.
\r\n\t- Application documents：Applicants should submit a competition plan and a funding application form (including budget items, amount and relevant attachments).
\r\n\t- Application Deadline：Application should be submitted to Planning Division 2 of the Office of Research and Development six weeks before the competition.
\r\n\t- Application process：Hard copies of application documents should be submitted through the respective departments or colleges for funding requests → Planning Division 2, Office of Research and Development(Ms. Tu).
\r\n\t- Grant Items：Grants are limited to the airfare, registration fee, living expenses and material costs for individual or group participation in international competitions abroad.
\r\n\t- Scholarship amount：\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- The scholarship amount for each team shall not exceed 50% of the funding applied.

\r\nGraduate students must complete the online application no later than 23:59 on the last day of the month two months prior to the first day of the conference. Late applications will not be accepted.

\r\nApplication for the NSTC 2026 Incentive Program for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences (Internal Deadline: March 24, 2026)
\r\n1.The internal application deadline is March 24, 2026 (Tuesday). Applicants must complete and upload all required documents via the NSTC “Academic Research and Development Service Platform,” confirm eligibility with their department, and submit one signed copy of the Application Form – Basic Information (Form H201) to the Project Administration Division.
\r\n2.The award period is from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027. Applicants who are expected to graduate on or before July 31, 2026 are not eligible to apply.
\r\n3.Supervising professors are required to review the application online and upload the “Supervising Professor’s Preliminary Evaluation Form.” For students with two supervisors, both supervisors must complete the evaluation.

\r\n\t- The stipend covers expenses such as publishing fees, overlength fees, and color printing fees for the paper. Each paper can only be used to apply for the stipend once.
\r\n\t- The paper must be published in a university's high-impact journal and the key journal for each college. Payment methods include those listed below:

\r\n\t- For journal papers ranked in the top 1% of their field according to the Ranking Factor, the maximum total stipend is NTD$150,000.

\r\n\t- For papers with an Impact Factor more than 10, the maximum total stipend is NTD$30,000.
\r\n\t- If Open Access fees are required or the applicant opts for Open Access, the maximum total stipend can increase by NTD$20,000.

NYCU Guidelines for Subsidy for Domestic Graduate Students to Attend International Academic Conferences of NSTC
\r\n\r\n
If you wish to apply for a National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Subsidy to attend an international conference, please observe the following guidelines:
\r\n\r\n
\r\n\t- Eligibility: Graduate students enrolled in regular (excluding in-service programs) doctoral or master’s programs may apply to the 1st Division of Strategic Planning of the Office of Research and Development (hereinafter referred to as Division) for an NSTC grant to attend international conferences.
\r\n\t- Application Process: Graduate Students shall log onto the Academic Research Service Portal through the official NSTC website (https://www.nstc.gov.tw/) to download and complete the following documents. Then, submit the completed documents to the Division. The Division will then submit your information to the NSTC after confirming your eligibility and documents.\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- Register or update your personal information online.
\r\n\t\t- Complete the application form and submit your abstract online. The abstract must be from the paper that you will be presenting at the conference, and this must be the first time that the paper will be presented/published.
\r\n\t\t- Documents proving that the paper has been accepted for presentation/publication.
\r\n\t\t- A recommendation letter from your advisor (including a statement on the student’s foreign language proficiency and the advisor’s handwritten signature).
\r\n\t\t- Other related documents that can facilitate the reviewing process (e.g., the full text of the paper).
\r\n\t
\r\n\t \r\n\t- Application Deadline: Graduate students should complete their online application no later than 11:59 PM on the last day of the month two months before the first day of the month that the conference will be held (please refer to the attached NYCU Application Schedule). Late applications will not be accepted. Applicants are advised to submit their application as early as possible to prevent the application from being returned due to incomplete information and to allow for additional submissions.
\r\n\t- Review Guidelines and Period:\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- Graduate Students are limited to one grant a year. If a paper has multiple co-authors, only one graduate student can receive the grant for its presentation.
\r\n\t\t- After receiving applications, related departments of the NSTC will complete their review within one month of receiving the documents and notify the NYCU of the results of the review. When necessary, the NSTC may extend the review period.
\r\n\t
\r\n\t \r\n\t- Process to change the application after approval:\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- Approved cases cannot be changed unless otherwise submitted by the Division and approved by the NSTC.
\r\n\t\t- Graduate Students should apply for changes on the Academic Research Service Portal through the official NSTC website. Changes will only be official after approval from the NSTC. Except for application cancellations, all change requests should be submitted before the conference.
\r\n\t\t- If a subsidized case has been approved for cancellation by the NSTC, the same Graduate Student may reapply to the NSTC to attend another international academic conference within the same year.

\r\nIn order to encourage faculty members' participation in international conferences for the presentation of academic outcomes, thereby fostering increased international academic exchange and visibility for the university, Office of R&D provides financial assistance for presenting academic outcomes at international conferences. \r\nThe subsidy application for Faculty Researchers to Present at International Conferences for this year will be accepted until November 15, 2023 (Friday). Please submit your proposal through the application system at least six weeks before the conference.

\r\n(1) This subsidy is designated for faculty members within our university's establishment to attend significant international conferences recommended by affiliated colleges for presenting academic outcomes. \r\n(3) If your request for subsidy is approved by Office of R&D Executive Committee Council, you must complete the university's leave procedures in advance and obtain necessary approvals two weeks before your overseas trip. You are also required to submit a travel report (in Chinese), along with reimbursement-related documentation within a month after return.

一、旨揭方案補助對象為本校專任新進助理教授級教研人員到職5年內(若有生產或育嬰事實得比照國科會規定延長)獲核校外學術研究機構(以下簡稱補助單位)學術研究計畫者，得向研發處申請研究經費補助，以增益及加深其學術研究成果。
\r\n二、本年度前次受理獲核國科會「新進人員研究計畫」，本次新增受理獲核國科會「新秀學者研究計畫」為申請範圍，採隨到隨審方式，申請者獲核後提出申請，每人限申請1次並以1件計畫為限，且不得逾核定計畫執行期限提出。
\r\n三、請申請者檢附申請表及國科會核定清單送計畫業務一或二組辦理初審，俟計畫業務一或二組初審通過後，請申請者所屬系所單位依初審後結果，檢附申請表簽會計畫業務一或二組後再送研發長核定。

\r\n五、本案補助經費來源為教育部高等教育深耕計畫第二期，相關注意事項請詳參作業要點及申請表。

一、依據國家科學及技術委員會112年8月8日科會科字第1120052891號函辦理。
\r\n二、本次申請案件之會議舉辦日期須為112年10月1日至113年12月31日間舉辦之研討會。
\r\n三、申請人請於國科會「學術研發服務網」之「國內舉辦國際學術研討會」完成線上申請。(申請案內若有其他單位配合補助經費，請依本校「產學合作收入收支管理要點」規定，以該經費總額之5%於該補助案內編列行政管理費)
\r\n四、校內作業流程如下(校內截止日期為112年9月28日下午4點前)：
\r\n交大校區：請申請教師之所屬單位於112年9月28日下午4點前列印「申請書」1份，加註說明此研討會預估總收入入帳情形，經計畫主持人、單位主管及一級主管簽章後送計畫業務二組辦理申請，並請依本校「產學合作收入收支管理要點」規定編列行政管理費。交大校區承辦人：陳卉娥小姐，分機31435。
