&lt;div class="ed_txt">&lt;strong>Usage Rules for Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence Inverted Microscope:&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ol>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">To use this equipment, you must make a reservation in advance via the &lt;span style="color:#2980b9;">Faces Scheduling System (http://faces.ccrc.uga.edu/) &lt;/span>and confirm it by the administrator before use.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">For first-time use, please contact the administrator (ext. 56994) to apply for a user account before logging into the system for reservation.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">The management unit will organize at least one yearly seminar to provide educational training and on-site examinations. It will charge a fee for each type of training if necessary.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">A technician (assistant instructor for instrument operation) will be assigned to manage and maintain the equipment. Under the guidance of the management committee, the equipment and its surroundings will be managed, and technical support will be provided.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">General or preliminary observations should not be performed on the equipment to avoid time-consuming occupation. The use of isotopes and infectious samples is prohibited.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Users must be educated and trained (including hands-on training) before using the instrument according to the regulations. &lt;div class="ed_txt">&lt;strong>Instructions for using the total internal reflection fluorescence inverted microscope system:&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ol>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Applicants who have attended the course on the principles of the Total Internal Reflective Fluorescent Inverted Microscope (TIRF) and the hands-on training course and have been certified by the instrument administrator are authorized to make a reservation for using TIRF.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">The fee for the TIRF inverted microscope is charged on a time basis, with the reservation time as the starting point. Reservations must be made one week in advance and canceled three days before the use date. Otherwise, the fee will still be charged according to the reserved time.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Charges are calculated from the reserved time, and every 10 minutes or more will be counted as one hour, and delays caused by the previous user will not be counted.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">If you do not show up 30 minutes after the scheduled time, the time slot may be assigned to another person who requires it. The latter lab will be charged for the use of the machine.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">No parts may be added, system settings changed, or software installed without the approval of the instrument specialist and system engineer.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Applicants are required to inform the instrument administrator at the time of booking of the type of samples to be used (slides, dishes, or other materials), the type of cells or animal tissues to be used, and the fluorescent (excitation/scattering) spectrum of dyes to be used. Infectious and isotopic samples are not permitted to be observed on the instrument.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Users should check whether the system is working properly each time they use the system and register the system in the User Register after use. If there is any problem, they should notify the instrument administrator immediately to avoid disputes over the instrument&amp;#39;s use and clarify the responsibility.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">After use, the user shall be responsible for returning the instrument to its original condition, and if any oil lens is used, it shall be cleaned, and the microscope system shall be kept clean.&lt;/li>&#xd;

&lt;div class="ed_txt">&lt;strong>Instrument usage regulations&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ul>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Before booking this instrument, please discuss with the instrument manager whether your experimental samples and design meet the instrument&amp;#39;s measurement range. This includes, but is not limited to, informing the manager about:&#xd;
	&lt;ul>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Sample type (coverslips or other materials)&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Fluorescent dye (excitation/emission) wavelengths&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Observation of infectious or isotope samples is strictly prohibited.&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Recommended coverslip size: 35 x 35mm or larger, thickness 0.13-0.19mm.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;/ul>&#xd;
	&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Before using the MTI-SMFM, please provide fluorescence spectroscopy experimental data and discuss with the instrument manager to confirm compatibility. If no relevant data is available, please book the fluorescence spectrometer in this facility for testing.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Operate the instrument according to standard procedures. Comply with instrument usage rules.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">After continuous operation for 4 hours, the instrument must rest for at least 1 hour.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Keep the instrument clean after use. Complete the usage registration form and notify the instrument manager for on-site inspection.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">In case of instrument malfunction:&#xd;
	&lt;ul>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Immediately inform technical personnel&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Do not disassemble the instrument&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Quickly report failure details to the technical operator or manager&lt;/li>&#xd;
		&lt;li class="ed_txt">Personal-caused damage will be repaired at the user&amp;#39;s expense&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;/ul>&#xd;
	&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">USB data access is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in usage rights suspension. Do not store data on the computer. Bring your own DVD for data storage.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">If a paper is published using this instrument, one usage fee (2 hours) will be waived.&lt;/li>&#xd;
&lt;/ul>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;div class="ed_txt">&lt;strong>Instrument Management&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ul>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">The instrument is managed by the faculty members from the Institute of Molecular Medicine &amp;amp; Bioengineering, who will collectively discuss management personnel, fee standards, and usage matters.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Educational training for the instrument will be announced and implemented only after recommended users are endorsed by a professor. Training may involve a nominal processing fee if necessary.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">One instrument manager is appointed to oversee equipment management and peripheral environment maintenance. Future additional personnel will be determined based on usage conditions.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Instrument billing is time-based, with reservation time as the starting point. Reservation must be made one week in advance. Cancellations must be made at least three days before the scheduled use date, otherwise full reservation time will be charged.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">No additional components may be installed, system settings altered, or software installed without the instrument manager&amp;#39;s explicit consent.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Users must verify system normality before each use, accurately log usage in the registration book, and restore the instrument to its original state. Any issues should be immediately reported to the instrument manager to avoid usage disputes and clarify responsibilities.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Violation of these regulations may result in the manager suspending the user&amp;#39;s usage rights. If improper use causes instrument damage, the responsible laboratory head will be liable for related compensation.&lt;/li>&#xd;
&lt;/ul>&#xd;

	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Participate in this &amp;quot;Equipment Usage Principles&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;Equipment Hands-on Training&amp;quot; courses and pass the assessment to obtain a certification to use it yourself.&lt;/li>&#xd;

&#xd;
&lt;div class="ed_txt">&lt;br />&#xd;
&lt;strong>Instrument Reservation:&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ol>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Users MUST make reservations one week before and submit the application form before use.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">After the reservation is confirmed, you must notify the cancellation three days before use if you cannot use it for any reason. If you do not cancel three days in advance, you will be regarded as using the reservation period and still have to pay.&lt;/li>&#xd;
