<div class="ed_txt">To enhance the understanding of the principles and applications of fluorescence and confocal microscopy and improve the ability to acquire images, we are pleased to announce the launch of the training courses!</div>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong>The physical lecture session</strong> will be held on October 7 from 10:00-12:00 at the Yang Ming Campus Activity Centre - Conference Room 3. Participation in the microscope hands-on course requires attendance at the lecture session.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><span style="font-size:105%;">If the instructor and project leader are the same person, a maximum of two enrollments for each hands-on course in the same lab is allowed.</span></li>

<div class="ed_txt">Attention: As the LSM700 parts have been discontinued, to avoid months of temporary downtime during future failures, the center will be upgrading the equipment from <strong>late September to early October</strong> (one week in advance), so please plan and arrange your experiments in advance to minimize the impact of downtime. <br />
<br />
After the upgrade, the quality and speed of image acquisition will be improved. However, the acquisition software, scan area, intensity, etc., will differ (it cannot be applied to the original LSM700 settings), and <span style="color:#e74c3c;"><strong>the original users must be re-qualified to use the upgraded model.</strong></span> The center will arrange the training course and assist in re-qualifying.</div>
