LAS-4000 can be used for image analysis of luminescence, fluorescence, near-infrared light, and ultraviolet light, and can scan gel, membrane, etc.
  • This system combines the superior FUJINON F0.85 bright lens and Cooling Super CCD system, which can improve the sensitivity and resolution of image capture.
  • In addition to providing quantitative image analysis, this system can be combined with related software to develop multiple functions such as 2D electrophoresis image analysis, microarray analysis, or colony analysis.
Sample Requirement:
Samples must have radioactive phosphorescence (Phosphor), Fluorescence (Fluorescence), or luminescence (Chemiluminescence) energy. The sample is not limited in form, films (Gels, sandwich gels), blotting membranes, 96-well plates (Titer- plates), tissue sections...etc.

Methods and Applicable Reagents:
  • Luminescence: commonly used in ECLTM, ECL plusTM, CDP-Star®, CSPD®, etc.
  • Fluorescence/Epi-Blue, wavelength 460nm: commonly used in SYBR® Green I & II, SYBR® Gold, SYPRO® Ruby, SYPRO® Orange, AttoPhosTM, etc.
  • White Transilluminator, wavelength 470-740nm: commonly used in Silver Staining, CBB, NBT/BCIP, X-ray film, etc.
  • Complete Applicable Reagents

  1. This machine must be booked via the Instrument Reservation System. Each person can make a maximum of 1 reservation, with a limit of 0.5 or 1 hour per reservation. Please make changes as soon as possible since multiple users use this device. Failure to make a reservation or a reservation under a different name will be penalized per the regulations.
  2. It takes 5 minutes to turn on and warm up the machine.
  3. Each machine is equipped with a sample tray (EPI Tray) for luminescence and fluorescent use, which can be handled with plastic wrap or other materials that can isolate contamination to avoid contaminating the machine and the sample tray.
  4. Turn off the machine after operation.
  5. Gloves are strictly prohibited; EtBr samples are also prohibited.
