    • 1D selectivity experiment: Selective COSY, Selective NOESY, Selective TOCSY, Selective Solvent Suppression (H2O+Solvent) and others
  • To use the NMR, individuals must be approved by the management unit as competent in NMR operation (by completing relevant courses, passing an exam, and receiving certification from the manager). Currently, each laboratory is staffed by one person. An additional operator may be assigned for highly utilized laboratories that exceed 10 hours of use per week.
  • Qualified operators can book instrument usage through the Instrument Reservation System. If unable to use the machine, it's crucial to cancel the scheduled experiment via the instrument center system the day before. Failure to do so will result in charges according to the scheduled time.
  • If there is no qualified operator in your lab, it is possible to request a commissioned operation, and the fee will be determined by the use time of the commissioned operating unit.
  • Any submitted samples that violate safety rules or standard procedures lead to malfunctions and damage, the operator's laboratory will be liable for compensation, and their usage rights will be suspended for one month.
  • There are no dedicated maintenance technicians, so the instrument usage record form must be completed before and after use. Inaccurate completion will result in a one-week suspension of laboratory usage.
  • Individuals who falsely claim other's certification to operate the NMR will have their usage rights suspended for one month.
  • Labels should be written directly on the top of the test tube or the cover. No label stickers on the NMR test tubes!
  • All experiments will be conducted using automatic sample delivery. Please record sample placement in detail to facilitate the setup and execution of other experiments. Upon completion, samples should be promptly returned to prevent loss or impeding others' usage rights.
  • Users are expected to maintain the instruments and related equipment and ensure a clean and tidy instrument environment.
Opening hours:
  • Every Thursday: 13:00-22:00
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 09:00-22:00.
  • Usage is based on half an hour as a unit. Less than 0.5 hours will be calculated as half an hour.
  • Open from 22:00 during the week (Monday to Friday) to 08:00 the next day and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • A single user before 10:00 pm is strictly prohibited for more than 2 hours. The rest of the time is closed for liquid nitrogen replenishment, instrument maintenance, and adjustment every week.
Services:
  • This instrument is open to off-campus commissioned operation services. Please fill out this application Form. Send the application form and the samples to the office of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences, NYCU, at the same time or deliver the samples in person.
  • The charging standard for 1D hydrogen spectroscopy is NT$350 per test (30 minutes as a unit), and the fee for 1D carbon spectrum and other experiments is NT$650 per test (one hour as a unit). If it exceeds the time limit, charges will be accumulated on time.
